Our Vision
Black Ram Remodeling Company’s journey began in 2020 when Misael and Selina realized they could make a difference in the lives of Oregonians. They want to help families have a comfortable and quality home to spend time together, creating wonderful memories.
Misael and Selina have firsthand experience of how tough it is to balance work and family time, and they want to make it easier for others. They founded Black Ram GC to create a legacy in the Home Remodeling Industry and provide their family, employees, and clients with a better quality of life.
At Black Ram, homeowners can update renovate their homes into fully custom spaces, creating memories for years to come. The Black Ram GC Team can enjoy their work and still have time left in their day to spend with their loved ones. And, Misael and Selina want their daughters to grow up knowing their parents worked hard remodeling homes throughout the Portland Oregon area, but were never absent from their lives.

Selina Ramon
Operations Manager
Well, hello there! Selina here, the Operations Manager and co-owner of Black Ram Remodeling. Consider me the one who keeps the gears turning and ensures everything runs like a well-oiled residential remodeling machine.
Although I have successfully earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Oregon University, I quickly discovered that my true calling extended beyond the confines of a cubicle. My real expertise lies in running our day to day operations, organization, and making sure Black Ram runs as smooth as possible. I’m thrilled to have the chance to work with you and bring your home renovation dreams and projects to life.
My husband, Misael, on the other hand, is the muscle behind the operation. Together, we’re like Batman and Robin – except we’re a little less cool and we fight dated homes instead of fighting crime.
We started this business because we wanted to combine our strengths and do what we love. And let me tell you, there’s nothing like seeing a client’s face light up when their home remodeling project is finished and it’s everything they wanted and more.
We also take care of our employees like family. Because let’s face it, they spend just as much time with us as they do with their own families. We do this by providing a safe and supportive work environment which allows them a great work-life balance and spend much needed quality time with their loved ones. And of course, we can’t forget about our own family. We have two beautiful girls. It is our main priority to give them a stable home life, something Misael and I both wished we had when we were growing up.
We’re not just in the business of beautifying homes, we’re also dedicated to improving the lives of our clients, employees, and our own family. In short, we’re building a legacy here.

Misael Ramon Gonzalez
Founder & Chief Executive
Hey! I’m Misael (pronounced Mee-sah-ehl), the proud Founder and Chief Executive of Black Ram Remodeling. I’ll be one of the friendly faces you’ll see regularly as we work together on your interior and exterior home renovation projects. I will also be the fellow overseeing the management side of all our projects from start to finish.
While I am proud to hold a bachelor’s degree from Portland State University, I must honestly admit that my greatest passion lies within the remodeling industry. I discovered my love for bringing outdated homes back to life when I was knee-deep in DIY projects in our own home. I get a kick out of figuring out how to revamp a space to better fit the needs of the family.
Construction has been a part of my life from an early age since I came from a family of construction workers. I started out helping my brothers with painting jobs when I was young enough to tag along. That’s when I realized how a fresh coat of paint could work wonders in giving an old space a new lease of life. But, let me tell you, it was also pretty cool to learn how to use a sprayer, brushes, and all sorts of tools to cut and trim straight lines.
After high school, I decided to explore various construction trades to learn more skills and techniques. Eventually, my wife Selina and I decided to start our own construction company to continue offering my remodeling services in a way that allowed us to create our own legacy and provide job opportunities for the community.
I get a lot of joy from working with my hands and tools, but the best part of my work with Black Ram Remodeling is seeing the smiles on my clients’ faces when they see their newly renovated homes. That’s something I didn’t get to experience when I worked in the labor force, and let me tell you, it’s addictively awesome.
